Fishing Report
Offshore
Still no Marlin coming to the weigh station. The weather this week has not helped with not many boats out fishing. However, next week’s forecast looks good for the Nationals which starts this Saturday and the Offshore Classic starting next Wednesday. Hopefully with 50+ boats out fishing some will be found. There is a vacant spot for the Offshore Classic so if you’re keen get in touch with the office ASAP. Target species are Billfish, Broadbill, Tuna and Mahimahi with a $50,000 prize pool up for grabs.
Inshore
Like offshore, not many reports of people out fishing in the last few days. I have had reports of good bait in the bay and Kingi’s around in reasonable numbers to those who are live baiting. Some big Sharks also caught (and lost) up the river.

The Clubrooms are open from 3pm on Tuesday 24th, so pop down and enjoy a beverage and something to eat!
The offshore classic is running on the back end of the Nationals (you don’t have to be in this tournament to join the Nationals!)
