IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION

You will be aware that the government has announced its intention to move the country into the Covid-19 Protection Framework using a traffic light system when certain criteria are met.

The upshot of it all is that at red or orange within this system, if we require patrons to have a vaccination certificate we are allowed to be open and if we don’t require these certificates then we are required to be shut.

It’s not really an option for us. As it is our desire to remain open as much as possible to allow members to utilise the facilities, the committee has determined that vaccination certificates will be required for entry to the clubrooms, all tournaments and other club activities, while the government regulates that we are in the traffic light system.

The committee will immediately review this decision if and when the governments’ position changes.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible during the upcoming summer period but we will be complying with the requirements of the traffic light system.

Thanks,

Alan Proctor
