Nothing to report this week

Winter Tuna Tournament

Prizegiving for this tournament will be next Saturday, September 3rd at 6.30pm.  The All Blacks will be playing at 7.05pm, so you can come down and make a night of it.  If you haven’t caught a winning fish there are drawn spot prizes on the night for teams that are present.

Rugby

This Saturday we have the first of 2 All Blacks games against Argentina.  Kick off is at 7.05pm and we are expecting quite a large crowd so get here early for a good seat.

Fathers Day

We’re going to be putting on a roast in the club on Fathers Day – September 4th.  There will be a choice of pork or beef and cost will be $15 per meal.  Keep us in mind if you’re looking for a low-key evening meal to celebrate Fathers Day.

AGM & Prizegiving

Don’t forget to put aside Saturday 10th September for the club’s AGM and Prizegiving.  Notices have already been sent out by email along with a comprehensive list of all award winners.  Remember you must be here at the time to be eligible to win the Whitianga Diesel/Coastline Excavations Tagging Club – $5000 cash prize thanks to Jason and Rod.

Catching Squid

On the 20th September at 6pm, Longshore Marine will be holding an instore Squid Seminar with Black Magic Tackle’s Jeremy Troup.  Come along and learn a thing or two, spot prizes on the night and some instore specials.    See you there
