Calling all creative young students living on the Coromandel here is your chance to design the official clothing logo for the biggest fishing event in the Southern Hemisphere the Kubota Billfish Classic.

This has been a world leading tournament in conservation with an amazing release rate of over 92%!

Simply register by texting your name, DOB, address, school (if applicable) and contact details to 0274165903 and hand in your design that includes the name ‘Kubota Billfish Classic 2023’ on an A4 piece of paper to the Mercury Bay Game Fishing Club anytime before 10am on August 19.

Terms and conditions

-Entrants must be under 18 on 1/1/22

-Entrants must live on the Coromandel Peninsula

-Winning design will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by MBGFC

-Winning entrant will receive $5,000 which must be used for Tertiary education costs, Apprenticeship equipment costs or other education/career costs deemed relevant by MBGFC

-By registering all entrants agree that as winner they will be required to appear for certain    promotional obligations.
