 Fishing

Finally we had one or two days where people were able to get out on the water for a fish.  For most, it was worth the wait with some good snapper being caught.  There were fairly big tides so plenty of current around which would have helped.  There were some very good snapper caught out in the Bay off Cooks Beach.  People also did well around the Twins and the Black Rocks.

Ladies Blue Tournament

This 5 month tournament kicked of yesterday December 1st . Get your entry in now so you’re all set for when you decide to head wide for a look.  Entry forms on the website, at the bar, or in the office.  $250.00 per boat

Girls the Bay Ladies Tournament

This tournament is being fished on the Saturday of the Auckland Anniversary weekend at the end of January.

To be in the early bird draw for $1000 cash you will need to get your entry in by the 14th December. Early bird entry fee is $100.  After that the entry fee will be $120.  The first 250 anglers will received a Stoney Creek Tshirt!

Suzuki Top Ten Tuna Tournament

Keep the dates free!!  This is an 8 day tournament which starts on the 31st December 2022 until the 7th January 2023. Cash prize pool of $10,000 and 5 lucky anglers will be drawn for one of 5 Suzuki DF2.5 outboard motors.
